Mobile Engineer
Build the Hyle mobile experience.
We're primarily looking for Flutter engineers — people who can ship cross-platform without sacrificing quality. We're also open to Swift engineers who want to own the iOS layer end-to-end.
- Flutter (Dart) expertise — state management, performance, native plugins
- Understanding of BLE / sensor data pipelines (wearables integration)
- Swift / SwiftUI considered for iOS-native track
- Experience shipping to the App Store or Play Store
Backend / Systems
Own the infrastructure layer.
We need people who think in systems, not just endpoints. You'll architect APIs, own reliability, and make performance decisions that affect thousands of users.
- Node.js, Go, or Rust — pick your weapon
- REST + WebSocket API design with real latency constraints
- Database design — PostgreSQL, Redis, vector stores
- CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud infra (AWS / GCP / Vercel)
AI Platform
Build the intelligence layer.
This isn't prompt wrangling. We need engineers who understand how to productionise AI — reliability, latency, cost, and evals. You'll own the pipeline from LLM call to user-facing output.
- LLM integration — OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- Evaluation frameworks — building rubrics, measuring drift
- Prompt architecture and context window management
ML / MLOps
Train, deploy, and keep it running.
We need someone who bridges research and production. You'll design evaluation pipelines, manage model lifecycle, and make sure deployments don't silently degrade.
- Training pipelines — PyTorch, JAX, or HuggingFace
- MLOps tooling — MLflow, W&B, or equivalent
- Model serving and inference optimisation
- Data pipelines and feature engineering at scale
IoT / Wearables
Build the hardware layer.
Hyle is building toward a hardware-software stack for performance. We need engineers who are comfortable at the boundary between embedded systems and cloud infrastructure.
- BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) data collection and parsing
- Embedded C / Rust on microcontrollers
- Sensor fusion — IMU, biometrics, environmental data
- Real-time data pipelines from edge to cloud
Designer
Make it feel inevitable.
We're not looking for someone who makes things pretty. We're looking for someone who thinks in systems, sweats the details, and can take a concept from napkin to production-ready without constant hand-holding.
- Product design — flows, not just screens
- Figma to production — you can hand off clearly and review implementations
- Design systems thinking — consistency at scale
- Motion and micro-interaction sensibility
Social Media
Build the voice of Hyle online.
We're specifically looking for someone who understands how to grow and engage communities on X (Twitter), Reddit, Threads, and LinkedIn. Platform-native content, not reposts.
- X / Twitter — threads, discourse, building in public
- Reddit — community-first, no spam, genuine participation
- Threads — early mover, experimental tone
- LinkedIn — thought leadership, product updates, team culture
- Analytics-driven iteration — you know what worked and why
Editor
Make ideas land.
We need a writer and editor who can bring clarity to complex ideas — research, product narratives, long-form content, and internal documentation. Precision over volume.
- Long-form content — essays, whitepapers, case studies
- Technical editing — simplify without dumbing down
- Product copywriting — UI strings, onboarding, emails
- Research and synthesis — turning sources into insight
